EcoHomeLife aims to help people to live a more sustainable life, by showing them what little changes they can make and offering advice on a range of eco-friendly products.
We don’t sell any products ourselves, but we try out and research products so we can tell you what we think and make it easier for you to make sustainable choices.
Our Story
I was always conscious of the environment, even as a child. I have berated my sister for leaving the tap running while she was brushing her teeth, much to her annoyance. And I was known to pick up wrappers and crisp packets to put them in the bin when being out and about with my family.
These little actions made me feel like I did something to help save the planet. But in recent years, as the climate crisis becomes bigger and more talked about in the media, I was looking for ways to change my lifestyle to become more eco-friendly and minimise my carbon footprint.

One of my concerns is the unimaginable amount of plastic waste we produce as humans. Whether I am out for a run, on a walk or just popping to a shop, plastic waste is everywhere.
So I decided to make some changes to cut the amount of waste I produce with the aim to live a more sustainable and eco-friendly life.
But it’s not as easy as it sounds, plastic is everywhere! And most things you need either contain plastic or are wrapped in plastic and I felt overwhelmed by the task I have set myself.
And if I felt like this, a lot of other people probably did too. This is how EcoHomeLife was born.
I wanted to help people make changes to their lifestyle to live a more sustainable and eco-friendly life, by sharing what I learned on my journey to a greener life.
How do we make money?
Running a website like this is inevitably linked with costs, so you probably wonder how we pay for these given that we don’t sell our own products.
We make use of affiliate marketing. This allows us to earn a small commission when you click some of our links and go on to buy a product from the partner. It does not affect the price you pay, and it does not affect our recommendation of the product. In fact, in many cases we recommend products we do not have an affiliate agreement with over those that we do!
