Why I Chose Faith In Nature
I came across Faith In Nature when I was looking for shampoo bars to get rid of plastic bottles in my personal care routine. What initially attracted me to this brand was their ethos.
The founder wanted to create products that harness nature without harming it. Her idea was to give nature a place in the boardroom. This means whenever a decision needs to be made, the company asks what would nature vote for.
Now for me, this is a very powerful image, because it shows that Faith In Nature isn’t just out to make profit, like many other companies. By putting nature at the heart of all their decisions, they create products that won’t harm our environment.
They only use naturally derived ingredients, so no nasty or toxic synthetic chemicals that will impact our planet. And their products are highly concentrated, which means their products don’t mainly contain water, like most others.
Transporting non-concentrated products takes up more space and uses more energy, so concentrates are the more eco-friendly option.
And while most of their products come in plastic containers, they are made from recycled plastic. According to Faith In Nature‘s website, their bottles have been recycled since 1999. Their reasoning is that if they have to use plastic, although they are looking for ways to get rid of it, then it should be plastic that already exists.
To that end, they have also created a refill system. You can refill their large containers either at home or at one of the refill stations across the UK. And they are also keen to get their bottles back, if you don’t need them any more.
They will either wash and refill them or grind them down to make new bottles. All these systems combined mean that they have created a zero-waste cycle, which is great for our environment.
All their products are also made here in the UK, which is important for us at EcoHomeLife, because buying local means reducing the carbon emissions our purchases produce. And they will plant a tree for every order they get through their website, too.
And that’s why I have chosen Faith In Nature.
In-Depth Faith In Nature Laundry Detergent Review
Swapping to a new product can be a daunting prospect, because you don’t want to waste your money on something that doesn’t work for you, right? So with this review I want to help you find out if the Faith In Nature laundry detergent is the right one for you.
To achieve this, I will look at various factors, such as value for money, effectiveness, and ease of use.

Ease Of Use
The next factor I want to discuss in my Faith In Nature laundry detergent review is how easy it is to use. It’s a liquid detergent, so you need to measure it out before adding it to your washing machine drawer.
You get a measuring cap that will make it easy to know how much to use. What I really like about a liquid detergent is that you can adjust the dose according to your needs. If you have heavily stained clothes, you can add a bit more, for example.
Liquid also dissolves better than powder, especially at low temperatures. And if, like me, you want to wash your clothes more sustainably, you will know that washing at lower temperatures is better for our environment.
You can also use it to wash clothes by hand, using a detergent-water ratio of 15ml:5l. Then wash your delicate clothes, rinse, and they are clean and fresh.
If you are used to using liquid detergent, then swapping to Faith In Nature won’t be a change at all. You can just continue as you were, but with the knowledge that you now only use non-toxic, naturally derived ingredients.
Results

We now come to one of the most important factors in my Faith In Nature laundry detergent review: results. There is no way that you will switch to their detergent if it isn’t effective, right?
So let’s address the first myth that many people believe: only harsh chemicals can clean clothes properly. Advertising has made us believe that we need harsh chemicals to get rid of the evil dirt from our clothes, bedsheets, and towels.
However, this is not true. Naturally derived ingredients work just as well, but they don’t impact our planet as harsh chemicals do. And their customers agree. They are all happy that their laundry liquid works perfectly to clean their washing.
This liquid detergent even works in hard-water areas, getting rid of stains and leaving laundry clean and fresh. The lovely smell also lasts, which I know is important for many people.
While there is only one option of fragrance, aloe vera and rosemary, the majority of customers love the fresh smell. And the fragrance comes from essential oils, rather than nasty fragrance chemicals.
So switching from your conventional detergent to the Faith In Nature laundry liquid doesn’t mean you have to compromise on results. This is brilliant news!
Value For Money

Now that we know that this laundry liquid works, what about its value for money? No matter how much money you have available, you don’t want to overpay for anything.
So how does the Faith In Nature laundry detergent compare to conventional liquid detergents? In most cases, it’s cheaper or similarly priced in case of own-brand supermarket products. Buying in bulk does tend to be more cost-effective. And the bigger a container you buy, the more money you can save.
The 20l container gives you about 600 washes. So even if you wash every day, it would still last you for well over a year.
But for me, when it comes to value for money, it isn’t just about costs. I am also interested in what you get for your money. And with the Faith In Nature liquid detergent you get a product that contains no harmful or toxic chemicals that could harm your family or the planet.
You can also get rid of single-use plastic in your laundry routine, because you can either refill the containers and keep using them. Or you can send them back to Faith In Nature to reuse or recycle them into new bottles.
So there is basically no waste, which is incredible value for money if you want to reduce the impact your household has on our environment.
Customer Reviews
Whenever I consider buying a new product, I check customer reviews. Knowing what actual users think, can make a decision much easier and also gives you peace of mind. So in my Faith In Nature laundry detergent review I will look at what their customers think.
This UK-based company is well established, so has a lot of feedback on Trustpilot, with over 5,000 reviews. 93% of customers have given a rating of 4.6 out of 5.
What satisfied customers like most about their laundry liquid is its effectiveness, the smell and that it’s eco-friendly. They agree that it’s worth the swap.
Only 5% of customers gave a 1- or 2-star review. And those relate predominately to delayed deliveries.
However, Faith in Nature replies to 78% of negative reviews and do their best to find a solution for these unhappy customers.
I have been using your products for a long time and never disappoint me.
5-Star Review on Trustpilot

Conclusion
So we come to the end of my Faith In Nature laundry detergent review. And what’s the verdict?
Faith In Nature is a brilliant company and I can wholeheartedly recommend their laundry liquid. It does a great job of cleaning your laundry, has a fresh lovely smell and all without using harsh, harmful or toxic chemicals.
The ingredients they use are all plant derived, which means they don’t use any petrochemicals. Their refill and closed loop recycling system means that there is no waste that goes into landfill, keeping our planet happy.
If you are after an eco-friendly laundry liquid, look no further: the Faith In Nature liquid detergent is the perfect sustainable alternative to conventional detergents.
